Palm Sunday Worship

April 4, 2020 by Lazara Abernathy

Join us Sunday, April 5 at 11:00 am (Central Time) on Facebook Live.

Bible Readings: Isaiah 50: 4-9a and Matthew 21: 1-11

April 5 is Palm Sunday, when we celebrate Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. You may want to gather palms or branches, or cut some out of paper, to wave as we sing our Hosannahs!

We will also be celebrating the Lord’s Supper. In “normal” times we gather for communion in person, sharing the bread and cup as we remember the sacrifice that Jesus made for our salvation. As we continue to follow guidelines that help to protect us all, we invite you to share in the bread and cup in a new way. This coming Sunday, bring bread and juice to your table, and participate with us in the safety of your home.
